Work
at Home Jobs: Worth the Risk
Working
form home seems like a paradise to those of us stuck with 9 to five jobs and traffic jams.
People who are doing it are the envy of all who are stuck in the rat race. Upon
closer examination exactly what does a successful work at home job entail.
For
many stay at home mothers it is a never ending line of dirty diapers and chores to be done and if they are trying to make
money on the side it involves many a late night after the kids are in bed getting the job done. For daycare providers it can involve a long work day, longer than the parents who drop their children there
and all the headaches and worries that watching children can employ.
Often
times work at home jobs make far less and work far more. So why do these people
keep at it. Why do they quit their job if it involves more stress and more time
than they had at their old jobs? For many it is the simple satisfaction of working
for oneself. For others it is the freedom of controlling your own schedule setting
your own hours. For still others the joy comes in the form of the pride of ownership.
There
are literally thousands of ways to start working at home and all are not a fit for everyone.
Some people find joy working with children al day and some would pull out there hair.
Some people enjoy selling; spending the day on the phone pursuing leads is a joy for them. Still others find a certain joy in creating new products and marketing them online and off. The choices are vast and if you find the right one, any extra headaches and speed bumps are worth it.
If
you find a niche that suits you and are able to turn it into a work at home job the benefits can far out weigh any of the
drawbacks. Many people are fully willing to take a minor paycut to do something
they love and working for themselves can be worth an even larger paycut. For those who keep at it and make their work at home
jobs a success the pay off in the end can be far more rewarding monetarily a swell as spiritually.
